Here are my reasons to vote NO to allowing liquor licenses in LMT
1. LMT can have 11 or more liquor licenses it's based on population
2. It will lead to the development of the if township line road and the bypass turning it into business rt 1 this area is zoned for restaurants Applebee's chili's TGIF ruby Tuesday etc
3. It will not generate the tax relief promised
4. A liquor license in Bucks County costs @ $350,000 to $500,000 so the most likely restaurants to afford this are your sit down chain restaurants
5. We have plenty of options close by we do not need the traffic congestion and inconvenience
6. Proponents of bringing liquor licenses to LMT could not get the number of signatures needed to get the question on the ballot in the past so they had our local politicians change the law. The last time this question was on the ballot LMT Voted against it
7. Do we really want LMT to be like every other town in Bucks County? This is a quality of life issue
8. The price tag for traffic improvements is 6 to 7 million dollars and LMT traffic engineer doesn't think it is fair to burden the developer with all of the cost
