Dear Fellow Republican Club Members,
The Lower Makefield Township/ Yardley Republican Club Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, on the second floor of the Continental Tavern located at the intersection of Main Street and Afton Avenue at 7:00 PM.
At the meeting, we will be electing new Club officers to fill open positions. Two of the current Club Board members have indicated that they will stand for reelection or another position. While a third current Club Board member has indicated that he would volunteer to be the Club’s Webmaster (a non-elected Club position).
We are, therefore, contacting the active members of the Republican Club to step forward and volunteer to serve on the Lower Makefield Township/ Yardley Republican Club Board of Directors.
You should note in the two appended sections of the Club Bylaws that the Club Board of Directors has an oversight Executive Board whose membership is defined by previous or present positions held within the Republican Club or the Lower Makefield/ Yardley Republican Committee.
The Club is privileged to have 3 elected Executive Committee members of Republican Committee as members of the Republican Club: Bill Clark, Jeffery Gale-Hall and Clark Martin. All these Executives provide feedback from Committee meetings such that the Club and Committee portrait the same Republican values for which we stand.
