Guy
Jones, Lower Makefield Township, passed away suddenly, July 2, 2020 at
his home on Ardsley Road at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife,
Gail Jones and 3 adult children, Craig Jones, Beverly Jones, Yardley and
David Jones, Virginia.
Guy
had a career as a journalist at the Philadelphia Inquirer before his
retirement. As a newspaperman, he was still making home deliveries of
the Bucks County Courier Times on the day he died.
He
was very active in Lower Makefield Republican politics. For almost 40
years, he served as a machine operator for the South 3 election poll at
Makefield Elementary School. In addition, he was a longtime standing
member of the Lower Makefield Republican Club.
